I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern who strives to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I work with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and young adults, and I am especially interested in supporting clients navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, identity development, and emotional regulation. My approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques, helping clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, build practical coping skills, and focus on strengths and solutions that promote growth and resilience.
I bring a background in behavioral health, including experience working with children on the autism spectrum and their families. I take a holistic, strengths-based approach to counseling, considering the emotional, relational, and environmental factors that shape each person’s experience. As an intern, I am committed to culturally responsive and ethical practice, and I work under close supervision while continuing to develop my clinical skills. My goal is to partner with clients to build insight, confidence, and meaningful change in their lives.
