The decision to start therapy can be overwhelming and anxiety provoking. You may be wondering how therapy can help or who the right therapist to see is. You are not alone! My hope is to help you feel comfortable and confident in your decision to be here. It’s a privilege to meet you where you’re at in life and walk alongside you, at your own pace, as we explore the challenges you are facing.
I have over six years of clinical experience working with depression, anxiety, life transitions, mood disorders, family and/or relational conflict, grief, complex medical diagnoses, and trauma. I strive to create an environment in which we identify where change is needed while highlighting the strengths you already possess. I value building trust, fostering connection, and embracing vulnerability with my clients. I firmly believe in providing an authentic, accepting, and affirming space to achieve the outcomes most important to you. I enjoy supporting clients with skills including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, and Mindfulness based approaches.
As a clinician in the Sexual health Certificate Program through the University of Michigan, I also have over seventy hours of specialized training and education in sexual health and wellbeing. I enjoy working with those impacted by sexual dysfunction including low libido, mismatched desire, pelvic pain disorders, and issues concerning gender and/or sexual orientation. Affirmation and acceptance of your personal identity and lifestyle are the core of my practice.
